Internship Terms

The terms, learning objectives and expectations for CEMPD internships.

CEMPD internships are structured learning placements for students and early-career professionals.

Nature of the engagement

Internships are educational and may be remunerated, stipended or unpaid depending on the programme and funding. Terms are confirmed at the time of offer.

Workflow

Each internship follows: application → screening → approval → onboarding → assignment → progress → supervisor evaluation → certificate. Completion and certification are subject to satisfactory participation and evaluation.

Expectations

  • Interns uphold safeguarding standards and CEMPD’s code of conduct.
  • Field and research work is conducted with community consent and data ethics.
  • Intellectual property created during the internship is handled per the offer terms.
