Objectives
To ensure productivity enhancement of water bodies through skill development and demonstration. Through scientific procedure and technical intervention, to increase production and consequently increase economic return, which would also elevate social status along with meeting life's minimum requirements. To train women in feed preparation for fishes, weaving of nets and other activities related to fish culture, helping them develop skills, work independently and generate a new source of income. To set up a model pond for the demonstration and breeding of fishlings — with demonstration, training and follow-ups on raising seedlings, proper care, water and soil quality management, pond management and overall related aspects.
